Carnival Corporation confirmed a data breach affecting 5,995,277 people after attackers gained access to an employee account through social engineering. The company said unauthorized activity was identified on April 14, and personal information was later determined to have been copied. Exposed data may include names, birth dates, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses and government-issued ID numbers.
